One of the most common mistakes that beneficiaries make is to think that a Will automatically delivers assets to them without probate. Often the beneficiary hires a real estate broker, and contracts for the sale of property he thinks he has inherited without realizing that the property must first go through a probate process at the court, before it can be sold.
